WWE Could Have Big WrestleMania Plans For Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

June 2024 · 2 minute read

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are best friends who didn’t quite come into WWE together, but it didn’t take long for them to have a lot to do with each other once Kevin Owens arrived in NXT. Their main roster careers have also seen them fight and form an alliance which is where we last saw them as friends who were injured around the same time.
Zayn had a double shoulder surgery which he sees as gift, meanwhile, Owens needed both of his knees operated on. WWE aired promo packages for the Yep Movement on RAW this week individually meaning a return is on the way.
It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE airing those segments now likely means a WrestleMania program for the two could be in the works. They aren’t expected to be cleared until around February, but that is in time for Mania.
We will have to wait and see what WWE’s actual intention was for airing KO and SZ hype videos on RAW, but it’s a really good sign for WrestleMania that they’re keeping the two in the WWE Universe’s consciousness.
